The identities of three suspects involved in a robbery from a jewelry store earlier this month are sought by the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office.
Three people entered Dickenson Jewelers in Dunkirk and made contact with the staff Dec. 9, according to a sheriff’s office press release.
Two teenage girls asked about buying a class ring, which distracted the employee, deputies said, and an older man, who walked with a pronounced limp, took a counter top display case and fled. The two girls left the store shortly afterward, possibly in a dark full-size GMC pick-up truck.
Deputies said the suspects are described as two black girls, one light-skinned with curly brown hair and facial piercings and the other dark-skinned with long, dark hair, both about 16 to 18 years old. The man is black and is about 50 years old, deputies said, and at the time of the robbery, he was wearing a baseball hat and glasses and had facial hair.
Anyone with information about the suspects or information that may help solve the crime is asked to contact Det. N. DeFelice at 410-535-1600, ext. 2669, or defelinb@co.cal.md.us.
