A Waldorf woman has been charged with attacking a Hughesville man with a knife Dec. 27 outside her Manning Court home, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Lyshae Angela Anderson-Hardin, 20, has been charged with first-degree assault and is being held on $100,000 bail.

Officers responded at 9:46 p.m. to the 3200 block of Manning Court, where the man, 21, reported that Anderson-Hardin had told him to meet her at her house to talk about his use of her car.

When the man arrived, he said, Anderson-Hardin confronted him with a knife. The man was able to wrestle the knife away from Anderson-Hardin, who then hit him several times in the face.
