Someone broke into several unlocked vehicles on Williamsburg Drive and Doris Drive in the Pinefield neighborhood in Waldorf and stole money, headphones, a flashlight and a camera between 10 p.m. Dec. 26 and 5 a.m. Dec. 27, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Officers canvassed the area and confirmed six thefts. It appears the thieves stole from more vehicles, but police were unable to find the owners.
Officer D. Arends is investigating.
Crime Solvers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information on these thefts or who discovers an unreported theft of vehicle break-in should call the sheriff’s office at 301-932-7777.
