The Leonardtown Volunteer Rescue Squad Auxiliary would like to thank the community and our sponsors for making our 15th annual Christmas festival the most profitable ever. We thank the Leonardtown commissioners for allowing us to participate in the lighting of the tree festivities on the square in Leonardtown.

Winegardner Auto Group opens their showroom and employees to us during the week keeping us and our patrons out of the cold and other elements. The following sponsors continue to support the auxiliary by giving generously to help us make our event possible: W. M. Davis; Guy Distributing Co.; Coombs Bus and Truck Service; J.F. Taylor; Rex Coombs Music Services; American Electronics. The winner of the raffle for the wagon full of toys was Linda Cairnes.

Most of you know that our squad, like all others in St. Mary’s County, is staffed by volunteers. The money we raise and turn over to the squad each year goes directly to offset operating expenses such as maintenance and upkeep of the facilities and equipment and critical training for our members. Thank you to all.
