Calvert Gallery rolls out a new art show, “Subterranean Landscapes,” for the New Year.

Visiting artist George Stolt paintings are colorful and intensely emotional. On Jan. 12 from 5 to 8 p.m. celebrate “Subterranean Landscapes” with an evening of drink, food and music by guitarist Bob Spanburg at CalvART Gallery in the Prince Frederick Shopping Center, Prince Frederick.

“Subterranean Landscapes” explores emotional spaces using abstracted figures, complex arrangements, color and shapes.

The show will close Feb. 3.
