Dale Hopkins Milburn, 66, of Aiken, S.C., died Dec. 28, 2012.

Born in St. Mary’s City, he was the son of the late Everett and Margaret Wolfe Milburn.

He was a retired financial manager for several automobile dealerships.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Joyce Goetz Milburn; daughter, Jennifer Marie Milburn of Macon, Ga.; son, Dale Allen Milburn of Holly Hill, S.C.; two stepdaughters, Sherri Lynn Crowley of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Leslie Diane Johnson of Charlotte, N.C.; stepson, Phillip Thackwell Johnson of Charlotte; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and his aunt, Caroline Milburn Stokes of Leonardtown.

A memorial service will be held today, Jan. 4, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Aiken, with the Rev. Fred Andrea III officiating. The family will receive friends in the church parlor following the service.
