Maryland-National Capital Building Industry Association has elected Brian Allan Jackson, a partner with EYA LLC, as its president.
Jackson and the other members of the executive committee and board of directors will be installed Jan. 31.
Jackson serves as senior vice president of land acquisition and development, and is leading EYA’s participation in more than $750 million of public-private development partnerships. He is also a member of EYA’s executive committee and its investment committee, and directs strategy and planning for the firm.
Prior to joining EYA, he served as chief of staff at the U.S. General Services Administration, the single largest owner and operator of real estate assets in the United States. Jackson is a long-standing member of MNCBIA’s executive committee of the board of directors and served as chairman of the Washington, D.C., liaison committee for many years.
He is a full member of the Urban Land Institute, where he serves on the Public Private Partnership Council and is a member of the African-American Real Estate Professionals Association. He holds a bachelor’s of art with honors in economics from the University of Alabama and a master’s in business administration with distinction from the Harvard Business School.
The MNCBIA is a regional organization of 500 building and development companies.
