Floyd Allen Glunt, 72, of Mechanicsville died Jan. 4, 2013, at his residence.
Born Sept. 14, 1940, in Loganton, Pa., he was the son of Raymond Glunt and Pearl Lamey Glunt.
He worked as an auto body repairman and also sold auto body supplies at F&J Sales and Service in Mechanicsville.
He loved gardening and Gravely lawn tractors.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Jean Diana Glunt; sons, Roger Glunt of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Rodney Glunt (Michiel) of Florida; daughter, Robin Hodges (Matt) of Charlotte, N.C.; brothers, Howard Glunt of Bellefonte, Pa., and Paul Glunt and his wife, Mary, of Howard, Pa.; sister, Ruth Casher and husband, Joe, of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Charlotte Hodges and Grayson Glunt; stepchildren, Tim Haney and Tonya Hammer; and step-grandchildren, McKenzie Haney and Ethan and Paige Hammer.
Private arrangements are being handled by Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home in Charlotte Hall.
