The Frederick law firm of Seymour B. Stern & Associates has joined the regional Baltimore-based firm of Offit Kurman.

The Offit Kurman firm has offices in Baltimore, Bethesda, Owings Mills, and Maple Lawn in Maryland. They also have offices in Philadelphia, Pa., Vienna, Va., and Wilmington, Del.

Seymour Stern, the founder of Seymour B. Stern & Associates, has been practicing law in Frederick County since 1963.

A resident of Frederick, Stern as served as president of the Frederick County Bar Association and the Maryland Bar Association. He has volunteered with the Frederick County Heart Association, and the Frederick County Red Cross. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Trustees with Frederick Memorial Hospital and the Board of Directors of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.
