At our meet Wednesday against Lackey, we were motivated and more than ready to race.
Every day, our team is getting stronger and faster. Everyone was ready to push themselves as a team to win.
The coaches told us that if everyone swam to their potential, we could win the meet. Both of us are so proud of the team.
Our girls team had a great meet. The girls 200-yard medley relay team was able to start the meet off with a first-place finish. The girls team earned first-place finishes in every race, which our team was elated about.
Our team hadn’t done that yet this season. We won the meet with 137.50 points to Lackey with 120.50.
Unfortunately, the boys didn’t receive the same results as the girls did. But, they are motivated to win the next meet we have. Overall, it was a really exciting swim meet.
Friday, we swim against Westlake. The girls team plans to continue the win from Wednesday into Friday. We all know our team can win overall Friday, too. We have to remember to continue to work hard like we have been doing.
After all the tough practices, it’s a great feeling to win the meet. All of our hard work has finally paid off.
