David O. Johnson, 58, of Powder Springs, Ga., formerly of Leonardtown, died Dec. 13, 2012.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Johnson; son, Larry Johnson and his four brothers and sisters, Ernest Johnson, Anne Kless, Lynn Ramsey and Patrick Johnson.

He was a graduate of Father Andrew White School, Ryken High School and the University of Maryland.

He was an environmental chemist.

His hobbies were gardening, listening to music and reading. He was a dedicated husband and father and will be sorely missed.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Feb. 16, at 10 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Leonardtown. Interment will take place at Charles Memorial Gardens and a reception will follow.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary’s Ryken School annual fund.
