outsourceIT in La Plata has announced an addition to its executive leadership team; Scott Quintal was hired as chief operating officer.

Quintal brings IT services and software knowledge and will complement outsourceIT’s existing executive leadership team as the company continues to build a national brand while focusing on delivering technology services to businesses, a company news release states.

“Scott brings an exceptional track record of accomplishments over the past several years while serving the IT services industry,” said Craig Guice, CEO of outsourceIT, in the release. “Most importantly, he has proven he has the skill set to successfully scale a technology business within our space. We are very confident that with his leadership, we will significantly grow our business without sacrificing the entrepreneurial spirit and exceptional quality of service that has gotten us to where we are today.”

“Quintal has more than 15 years of management experience in the IT services industry. Over the past eight years, he has served as a vice president of sales and other key stakeholder positions with Kaseya, an IT service delivery software platform provider. Joining the privately held company when they had fewer than 20 employees, Quintal was instrumental in leading the effort to successfully grow to more than 500 employees in less than five years by employing proven sales and marketing strategies while streamlining delivery and maximizing employee productivity and retention,” the release states.

Prior to Kaseya, he worked for service and software providers in a variety of sales and sales management roles.
