Charles Henry Proctor Jr., 52, Waldorf
Charles Henry Proctor Jr., 52, of Waldorf died Jan. 11, 2013, at Civista Medical Center, La Plata.
Born April 7, 1960, in Maryland, he was the son of the late Charles Henry Proctor Sr. and Mary Edna Proctor.
He was educated in Prince George County schools. He was employed by Prince George’s County Department of Public Works and Transportation. He enjoyed playing cards and going to car shows. For more than 25 years, he was a member of 7-Eleven Coffee Club.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul E. and Jeffery Proctor.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Diane Proctor; stepsons, Damon Harris and Darnell Henderson; grandchildren, Ricardo, Devin, Siera, Milani, Julian, Jacquline, Chrisolyn and Darren; brothers, Joseph and Benjamin and his wife Tracey Proctor; sisters, Pamela and her husband Lawrence Proctor, Angela and her husband David Keith Walls and Susan and her husband Dean Bright; sisters-in-law, Melissa Sandra and Patricia Proctor; aunts, Lucille and Jacqueline Proctor; uncles, Sylvester and John Proctor; nieces and nephews, Felicia, Lawrence Jr., David, Darius, Shannon, Shannel, Joe Jr., Stephanie, Katherine and Tavon; and many other relatives.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Jan. 18 at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, Waldorf. The Rev. Oliver Butler will officiate. Burial will be private.
