Donnette Regina Walker-Lark, 64, Fort Washington
Donnette Regina Walker-Lark, 64, of Fort Washington died of cancer Jan. 13, 2013, in Fort Washington.
Born July 5, 1948, in Washington, D.C., she was the first child of the late William R. and the late Lillie Ruth Walker.
She was known as “Donnie.”
She was educated in Washington, D.C. She retired after more than 30 years as a federal employee managing Pell grants at the U.S. Department of Education.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Harry T. Lark; brothers, Ronald, Kenneth and Keith; sisters, Peaches, Victoria and her husband Melvin and Tabia; daughters, Angela Michelle and her husband Terry Sr. and Anna Maria; granddaughters, Candace, Dyamond and Dyona; grandsons, Malik and Terry Jr.; great-grandsons, Cameron, Kaleb and Chase; many other relatives; and stepfather of more than 50 years, Stephen Berry.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Jan. 18 at Central Baptist Church of Camp Springs, Temple Hills. Burial will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation for breast cancer research.
Arrangements are being handled by Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, Waldorf.
