Wow. How lucky are we, as taxpayers in Calvert County, to be able, once again, to help support Chesapeake Hills Golf Course in its attempt to stay afloat?

Twin Shields Golf Club has been in business for 43 years, with no financial assistance. We can only imagine how magnificent our facility would be had we had even half the money the county has invested in Chesapeake Hills.

We congratulate Calvert County Commissioner Susan Shaw (R) on her foresight regarding this entire fiasco.
