Burglary reported

At 7:08 p.m. Jan. 16, Tfc. West responded to the 9700 block of H.G. Trueman Road for a reported burglary. Someone broke a basement window to gain access into the residence and items in the bedroom were disturbed, but nothing was taken. The investigation is ongoing.

Prince Frederick

Drugs found in car

Trooper S. Lewis stopped a vehicle at 3:44 p.m. Jan. 18 for traffic violations on Route 4 at Duke Street. The odor of marijuana allegedly was coming from inside the vehicle and a search revealed the driver, Ruben A. Soto, 21, of Chesapeake Beach, in possession of marijuana.
