Helen Louise Camper, 62, of North Beach died Jan. 22, 2013.

She was born Sept. 10, 1950, to the late Vincent Glista.

She was a volunteer for Hospice of the Chesapeake. She enjoyed helping others and was always dependable when someone was in need. When she wasn’t helping others, she enjoyed watching movies, scrapbooking and writing poetry.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Laurie M. Reggettz; and brother, Vincent “Vinny” Glista.

She is survived by her stepdaughter, Jean Glista; siblings, Steven and his wife, Victoria Glista, Walter Glista, Andy and his wife, Adrienne Glista, Mary and her husband, Aaron Douglass, Susan Glista-Dellinger and Linda Glista-Horman; friends, Mary Kress, Shirley O’Hara and Jim and Ursula King; and many other nieces, nephews and friends.

Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, Jan. 25, at Lee Funeral Home Calvert in Owings.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Indian Head.

Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
