For what it’s worth Appraiser Henry Lane Hull examines cross-stitch work made by Helen Burns of Waldorf that took her three years to complete. She brought the artwork, which she stitched over a pattern of a painting by a South Carolina artist, to the annual appraiser fair held Saturday at St. Clement’s Island Museum. Dozens of people from around the region visited the Colton’s Point museum and paid a small fee to find out the value of their fine art, dolls, coins, jewelry or other items.
