The following is a summary of incidents in the Germantown area to which Montgomery County police responded recently. The words “arrested” and “charged” do not imply guilt. This information was provided by the county.

Aggravated Assault

• At 2:20 a.m. Jan. 10 in the unit block of Observation Drive, Germantown. The subject is known to the victim.

Residential Burglary

• Between 10 p.m. Jan. 12 and 10 a.m. Jan. 14, 11800 block of Collins Drive, Germantown. Forced entry, took property.

Robbery

• At 8:30 p.m. Jan. 14 in the 11300 block of Halethorpe Terrace, Germantown. When the victim opened the door of her car to exit, the subject was squatting down and leaned inside and grabbed her two purses from her lap as well as additional items.

Strong-Arm Robbery

• At 8:50 p.m. Jan. 10 at Dawson Farm and Germantown roads, Germantown. The subject assaulted the victim and obtained property.

Vehicle Larceny

• Between 6 p.m. Jan. 12 and 3 p.m. Jan. 13, 18800 block of Bent Willow Circle, Germantown. No forced entry, took property.

• At 3:15 a.m. Jan. 13, two incidents in the 18000 block of Bent Willow Circle, Germantown. Entry through unlocked doors, took sunglasses from one vehicle and nothing from the other.
