Theresa Mae Lowe, 50, Hughesville

Theresa Mae Lowe, 50, of Hughesville died Jan. 25, 2013, at Charles County Hospice House, Waldorf.

Born June 6, 1962, in Xenia, Ohio, she was the daughter of Charles Ray Lowe and Berta Ettenhuber Lowe.

She spent most of her career in the information technology industry working both for the federal government and private companies. She was a certified scrum master and project manager for University of Maryland University College. She enjoyed fashion, cycling, sewing and traveling. She loved animals. She had a heart of gold and was generous and supportive.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Giedrius Vaitiekus; brother, Raymond Lowe; sister, Alice Reimard; and many other relatives.

Service and burial will be private by the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to ASPCA or Charles County Humane Society.
