Kenneth Robert Spencer, 91, Indian Head

Kenneth Robert Spencer, 91, of Indian Head died Jan. 26, 2013, at Hospice House of Charles County, Waldorf.

He was born Dec. 18, 1921, in Cape Charles, Va.

Mr. Spencer worked for the Navy Department for more than 35 years as a pipefitter.

He served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

His hobbies were raising Chihuahuas and home improvements. He enjoyed watching the Washington Redskins on TV.

He is survived by his wife, Edna Spencer, whom he married Sept. 19, 1942; and daughter, Ann Carol Spencer.

Visitation will be held from noon until time of service at 2 p.m. Jan. 30 at Williams Funeral Home, Indian Head. Burial will take place at 2 p.m. Feb. 11 at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham.
