It’s not just the economical issues, employment issues, budget issues, gun issues, energy issues, environment issues, or any other issues our government dives into, that the citizenry expect to be handled by the, hopefully, intelligent representatives, including the president of our country, along with those serving under him. The issue is not the issues themselves; it is the thinking used in solving these issues by those in charge of doing so, better known as using educated common sense in their thinking and planning.
The reason common sense is not being used is due to the fact our representatives have stopped working for the people and have their own individual benefits stuck in the front of their thinking system — a runaway government environment that must be cleaned up using a real and honest “green” — common sense. “Common sense” means sound, practical judgment, or exhibiting native good judgment. “Native” means point of origin, such as God-given — which means God gave us common sense. But God left it up to each individual to properly make use of it.
Our representatives, at all levels, are not using their common sense. It is why our country (the greatest, most successful country in the world) is heading toward a disaster large enough to completely destroy us. But what is more disturbing is President Barack Obama and his administration are not even close to using common sense when it comes to the Constitution and our citizens’ security at home or worldwide.
A few examples to drive my point home and into the hearts of every American include guns, battleships, military aircraft, oil tankers, oil and gas pipelines, or anything else that is man-made and never the cause for death or disasters. The real and honest cause is man (human errors or deliberate actions) with the exception of natural disasters. Inanimate objects are never to blame. Remember, when a transformer explodes and many are left without electricity, it’s not the transformer’s fault it failed; it’s man’s fault as it wasn’t built strong enough or used properly, unless it was caused by a natural disaster. One doesn’t have to be an educated adult to understand this when using their common sense. There are honest mistakes, and we must accept that fact and make proper corrections as they take place.
Remember, if it’s man-made, chances are it isn’t perfect, and that includes laws and regulations. But if common sense is used during the process of being man-made, life, liberty, happiness and security are the end result, serving the United States of America. We must always remember, our forefathers knew this in the beginning. Giving us a document to protect us from harm and to live by — better known as our Constitution and the Bill of Rights. May God bless America.
