Several students at Central High School in Capitol Heights were recently inducted into the National Honors Society.

The National Honors Society is a Reston, Va.-based organization that recognizes high scholastic and extracurricular achievement for students grades 10 through 12.

Among those inducted into the group were 11th-graders Jasmine Edwards, Jeresatu Koroma, Cherisse Mathis and Mercedes Stokes.

The list of inductees also includes seniors Divine Ambe, Cleveland Beveney, Amirah Chamble, Asa Deshields, Joshua Dodson, Massa Kanneh, Marquise McKine, Armelle Njeumen, Prisca Ngoma, Massane Sacor and Kelly Tombe.
