Three MARC trains on the Brunswick Line will not run Thursday evening due to downed trees in Gaithersburg.
Train 875, which leaves Union Station at 4:25 p.m.; Train 879, which leaves Union Station at 5:40 p.m.; and Train 895, which leaves Union Station at 6:40 p.m,, will not operate.
Instead, Trains 887 and 881 will operate through Martinsburg, W.Va. Train 883 will make all stops between Washington, D.C., and Brunswick, according to a news release from MARC.
The downed trees have been cleared since they were first found on the tracks Thursday morning, according to Maryland Transit Administration spokesman Terry Owens.
