Investigators are searching for a man who robbed a White Plains resident of his truck at 10:49 a.m. Jan. 23, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The victim had just arrived home in the 10000 block of Housely Place when he was confronted by a man who pointed a gun at him and demanded his truck keys.
The homeowner complied, and the robber drove off in the truck.
Officers and a police dog team canvassed the area. The truck was found abandoned on Red Horse Court.
Officers continued canvassing and processed the scene for evidence.
The man is described as black with a dark complexion, 6 feet tall, about 185 pounds and wearing a black stocking cap, black North Face jacket, black gloves and blue jeans.
