Wannabe burglar botches break-in
Someone put a ladder against the rear of a house in the 3100 block of Guilcrest Drive in Waldorf and tried but failed to remove a screen and pry open a window between 1:30 and 7 p.m. Thursday, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Investigators are pursuing leads.
