Two Virginia brothers have been charged with robbing a 17-year-old boy of his Nike Air Jordan sneakers in Waldorf on Dec. 10, the sheriff’s officers reported

Kwuane Marshall, 20, and Rachard Marshall, 18, have both been charged with robbery and second-degree assault.

The boy told police that two men assaulted and robbed him while he was walking in the 2000 block of Tanglewood Drive.

Investigators identified the Marshalls — who were living in homes both in Fredericksburg, Va., and on Tanglewood Drive — as suspects and arrested them Jan. 23.

During the arrests, detectives found a key to a Chevrolet Camaro inside the elder brother’s pocket. Officers found the car and ran a records check, revealing that the car had been reported stolen from Washington, D.C.

Officers found a handgun inside the car.

Detective Anthony Celia is investigating.
