A Charles County grand jury has issued the following indictments:

Derrick Renoldo Pitts Jr., 18, of La Plata was charged with armed robbery, two counts of use of a firearm in commission of a violent crime, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, first-degree assault, conspiracy to commit first-degree assault, robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, carrying a handgun, transporting a handgun in a vehicle on public roads and possession of a regulated firearm by a person younger than 21 for events that occurred Dec. 21.

James Lee Rudd Jr., 24, of Waldorf was charged with third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, second-degree assault, conspiracy to commit second-degree assault and malicious destruction of property valued at less than $500 for events that occurred Dec. 7.

Travon Catrell Rudd, 19, of Waldorf was charged with third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, second-degree assault, conspiracy to commit second-degree assault and malicious destruction of property valued at less than $500 for events that occurred Dec. 7.

Craig Brian Simms, 42, of Nanjemoy was charged with first-degree arson, first-degree burglary and threatening to commit arson for events that occurred Aug. 25.

Heather Williams-Ellis, 45, of Waldorf was charged with second-degree child abuse and second-degree assault for events that occurred Dec. 18.

Terrence Wills, 19, of Bryans Road was charged with two counts of first-degree burglary, two counts of conspiracy to commit first-degree burglary, theft of between $10,000 and $100,000 and two counts of malicious destruction of property valued at less than $500 for events that occurred Nov. 9.
