A house fire in Bowie Sunday afternoon has sent one firefighter to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Prince George’s County Fire Department reports.

Firefighters arrived at the scene of a house fire in the 12700 block of Kingsfield Lane in Bowie around 12:30 p.m., to find flames coming from the second floor, according to reports from Assistant Chief Alicia Francis.

Francis reported that one firefighter received non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital, and the bulk of the fire was now under control.

No other injuries were reported and no further details are available.
