A call to Charles County Crime Solvers led to the arrest last month of two alleged drug dealers and the seizure from their Waldorf residence of more than two pounds of marijuana worth what police estimate is about $55,000.

Peter Louis Nikolai, 30, and Kristen Rene Stockman, 24, have both been charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, marijuana possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm in connection with a drug trafficking crime.

The bust followed a three-month investigation into alleged drug dealing at their home in the 6200 block of Panther Court, where detectives found packaged marijuana labeled with brand names including “Pineapple Express,” “Bubbadaddy,” “Lemon Haze,” “Strawberry Cough” and “Motherlode.”

Officers from the Charles County Sheriff’s Office arrested Nikolai and Stockman after they were seen leaving their home around 6:10 a.m. Jan. 18. Detectives briefly followed them in their car before marked patrol units pulled them over and detained them.

Investigators then served a search warrant on their home, which is owned by Nikolai’s mother, according to charging papers.

During the raid, police found three safes in Nikolai’s room containing sandwich bags, glass jars and plastic bottles full of marijuana, the papers state. They also found in one of the safes numerous glassine baggies, which are commonly used to package marijuana for street sales.

Officers also found four digital scales around the room and a .38-caliber revolver inside a filing cabinet, court records state.

Investigators also seized $5,000 in cash, drug paraphernalia, another gun and a Dodge Charger, according to the sheriff’s office.

Detectives believe Nikolai and Stockman sold the marijuana from their home and car.

Stockman was released Jan. 19 on $100,000 bail, and Nikolai was released a day later on $250,000 bail, according to court records.
