Thief snatches MP3 player from pedestrian

A man was robbed of his MP3 player while walking on St. Thomas Drive in Waldorf between 3 and 3:15 p.m. Jan. 30, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The man, 24, was not hurt. The thief is described as a black man in his 20s with dreadlocks, wearing a red-hooded shirt.

Officer D. Butler is investigating.
