Mike and Kathy Nicholson of Westminster and Bob and Annette Hemming of St. George Island announce the engagement of their children, Sarah Ann Nicholson and Alan Joseph Hemming.

The bride-to-be is a 2009 graduate of Westminster High School and will be graduating from Lancaster Bible College in May with a degree in spiritual formation and discipleship with a minor in women’s ministry.

The groom-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Leonardtown High School and graduated University of Maryland University College in 2010 with a bachelor’s in communications. He is currently in his second year at Asbury Theological Seminary and will be graduating in 2015 with a master’s of divinity.

The couple is planning a July 6, 2013, wedding in Reisterstown. The Rev. John Wunderlich of First Saints Community Church of Leonardtown will officiate.
