Frank Scott Disharoon, 50, Dunkirk
Frank Scott Disharoon, 50, of Dunkirk died Feb. 3, 2013.
Born June 9, 1962, in Marquette, Mich., he was the son of Ursula Disharoon and the late Frank F. Disharoon.
Mr. Disharoon owned Disharoon Mechanical Services until 2011, was a master heating, ventilation and air-conditioning mechanic and a master plumber. He worked for the Prince George’s County public school system as an oil burner mechanic. He loved camping, swimming, boating and enjoyed riding all-terrain vehicles. Some of his favorite places to visit were Lake Anna, Kerr Lake and Lake Gaston. He was involved with the Boy Scouting program at Smithville United Methodist Church. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed rooting for Tony Stewart. To his neighbors, he was always a giver and available to fix things.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 26 years, Debra Kidwell Disharoon of Dunkirk; children, Joshua and Matthew Disharoon of Dunkirk; and many other relatives.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
