The following items were compiled from reports from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office. During the week of Feb. 4 through 9, deputies responded to 1,325 calls for service throughout the community.
Huntingtown
Eggs thrown at car
Someone threw eggs at a vehicle parked outside a home in the 800 block of Monarch Lane overnight between Feb. 5 and 6. Anyone with information is asked to contact Dfc. N. Funchion at 410-535-2800.
Lusby
Deputies investigate burglary
Dfc. J. Bell is investigating a burglary that occurred between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Feb. 1 at a home in the 12400 block of Rousby Hall Road where a black Wii gaming system, a white Nintendo game pad and video games, altogether valued at more than $1,000, were stolen.
Woman charged for theft
At 7:34 p.m. Feb. 4, Deputy J. Brown responded to Walgreen’s for a reported theft. A store employee said a woman stole merchandise. Brown contacted Chelsea L. Hoofnagle, 26, of Lusby, who allegedly had more than $50 worth of items she did not pay for and a search allegedly revealed she had drugs. She was arrested and charged with possession of heroin, possession of suboxone, use of drug paraphernalia, theft less than $100 and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use.
Home damage reported
Deputy L. Woods is investigating damage to the siding of a home in the 300 block of Coyote Trail caused by someone shooting the siding with a BB gun. The cost of the damage is estimated at $50.
Home burglarized
A home in the 1100 block of Muskogee Lane was burglarized during the day Feb. 5, and a PlayStation 3, video games and sport-themed clothing and hats, altogether valued at $2,300, were stolen. Deputy L. Woods is investigating.
