Northern 39, Chopticon 36

Mauri Miller and Mykaela Bailey combined for 27 points and 25 rebounds to carry the visiting Patriots (13-7, 7-3 SMAC) to a win over the Braves on Friday.

Bailey had 14 points and 11 boards and Miller added 13 points and 14 rebounds to help Northern win its third straight game.

Naaila Cooke added eight points and a team-high four steals and Natalie La Placa contributed three steals, two blocks and a team-high three assists.

Northern, which rallied from a 26-21 fourth-quarter deficit versus Chopticon, defeated Leonardtown for its fourth straight win, 62-32 on Monday to make up a Jan. 25 postponement.
