Dr. Sarah Leonhard, CEO of Greater Baden Medical Services, announced the availability of pediatric care services at the center in the Irene Davis Pavilion on the campus of Civista Medical Center in La Plata.
With the arrival of staff pediatrician Dr. Meaza Bekele, GBMS participates in the expansion of health care services and creates a much needed access point for Southern Maryland families, according to a Greater Baden news release. An experienced physician, Dr. Bekele has been providing medical care for children for more than 18 years. Dr. Bekele has practiced medicine abroad and domestically in both Maryland and Texas.
“I am happy to be on staff at GBMS at La Plata and looking forward to providing a variety of pediatric services for newborns and children up to 18 years of age,” Dr. Bekele said in the release.
GBMS is also expanding access to care with the addition of a new provider for adults, Nurse Practitioner Jacqueline Bradley. Bradley is a graduate of the Catholic University nurse practitioner program and comes to GBMS through a partnership with the Kaiser Ambassador Program.
