Huntingtown honors first responders at 40th banquet

The Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad had a memorial to Rocky the Dalmatian who died last year after more than a decade at the department. The department held its 40th annual awards banquet Feb. 9.
Deputy EMS Chief Jessi Borden, Assistant Chief Michael Montgomery Sr. and several other officers were awarded the Chief’s Appreciation Award by outgoing Chief Jonathan Riffe for their support and encouragement during his six years as chief.
