Fire officials are investigating a Thursday afternoon fire to a Lusby home.
At 4:45 p.m. Thursday, a small fire was set to the exterior of a two-story, wood frame, single-family H.G. Trueman Road home in Lusby, according to a Maryland State Fire Marshal’s press release. The fire was next to the HVAC unit, fire officials said, which caused about $150 in damage to the heating unit and the exterior of the home.
The American Red Cross is providing emergency shelter and financial assistance to replace food, clothing and other essentials that were lost in the blaze, according to a Red Cross press release.
