Fire officials are investigating a Monday morning fire that was intentionally set to a stolen vehicle in Huntingtown.

A passerby on Ox Cart Road in Huntingtown discovered a burned 2010 Mercedes Benz GLK, which was reportedly stolen Feb. 4, according to a Maryland State Fire Marshal’s press release. The fire had burned itself out before it was discovered. The fire, which was set to the interior of the vehicle, caused about $25,000 in damage, the press release states. No injuries were reported.
