Calvin and Florence Robey of White Plains celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 22. They were married at Calvary United Methodist Church in Waldorf by the Rev. Johnson on Feb. 22, 1963.
Calvin worked for Willett & Pickeral, Willett’s Construction, James R. Willett & Sons and currently employed with the Charles County government, in addition to being a lifelong farmer.
Florence has been a Charles County school bus driver for Calvin Compton Bus Service for 39 years.
They have three children, James Robey and his wife Ann, Cindy Keesee and her husband Steve and Amy Lusk and her husband John. They have five grandchildren, Jessica Grow, Clayton Keesee, Megan Keesee, James Lusk and John Lusk.
