Thomas Andrew Proctor Jr., 52, Clinton
Thomas Andrew “Bicky” Proctor Jr., 52, of Clinton died Jan. 31, 2013.
Born Sept. 14, 1960, he was the son of the late Thomas and the late Eleanor Proctor.
He was born and raised in southern Prince George’s County and graduated from Surrattsville High School in 1978. He worked for various construction companies.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter Proctor, Maude Proctor, Sydney Douglas and Lola Douglas.
He is survived by his sisters, Marian Proctor, Deborah Holman, Beverly Daniels, Stephanie Proctor and Wanda Proctor; nieces, Angela Randall and Samira and Zaila Akida; nephews, Robert Holmes Jr. and Ajamu “Bakari” Akida II; great-niece, Gianni Randolph; brother-in-law, Johnny Holman; cousins who were like brothers, Roy Savoy and Stevie Adams; and many other relatives.
A service was held Feb. 9 at Pope Funeral Home, District Heights. The eulogy was given by the Rev. Charles V. Payton. Burial took place at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf.
Pallbearers were Roy Savoy, Barry Adams, Kenney Foster, Steven Adams, Raymond Walls and Larry Scranage. A repast was held at the home of Beverly Daniels in Forestville.
