Officers have arrested a Waldorf man wanted in connection with a Feb. 7 burglary on Gatwick Court, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Detectives were on Ell Lane searching for James Lee Rudd, 24, at 5:17 p.m. Feb. 20 when they spotted him walking nearby.
Rudd ran away towards Old Line Center. Officers surrounded Old Line Center and detained Rudd shortly thereafter.
Rudd was served a warrant charging him with first- and fourth-degree burglary and theft between $10,000 and $100,000. He has also been charged with fleeing police.
Russ was released Feb. 21 on $3,000 bail, according to online court records.
