Someone tried to break into a house in the 11700 block of Glen Abbey Court in Waldorf at 5:45 p.m. Feb. 20, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Police said a resident heard a loud noise near the rear of the home and found a boot print on the back door.

Officers, including a police dog team, canvassed the area but did not find any suspects.

Officer J. Fromme is investigating.
