Drugs found after car accident
Tfc. Sorenson responded to a car accident at 1:59 p.m. Feb. 14 on Mt. Harmony Road near Route 2. Scott A. Callaway, 26, of Huntingtown was allegedly found in possession of suspected heroin and drug paraphernalia. He was jailed at the Calvert County Detention Center.

Drugs, weapons found in car
At 9:36 p.m. Feb. 12, Tfc. West stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 4 and Sixes Road. Marijuana allegedly was seen in the front seat and during a search of the vehicle, a concealed knife and a pair of brass knuckles were found. Mitchell J. McKinney, 23, of Mechanicsville was arrested for drugs, drug paraphernalia and concealed weapons.
Traffic stop leads to drug arrest
Tfc. Esnes stopped a vehicle at 5:46 p.m. Feb. 15 for traffic violations at Dares Beach Road. A search of the vehicle allegedly revealed heroin and drug paraphernalia. A passenger, Angelique H. Bazan, 21, of Annapolis was arrested and jailed at the Calvert County Detention Center.
Man arrested for DUI, drug possession
A vehicle was stopped by Tfc. Esnes for traffic violations at 7:15 p.m. Feb. 15 on Route 4 near Route 231. Walter S. Robertson, 41, of Edgewater was arrested for driving under the influence and a search revealed he was allegedly in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. He was jailed at the Calvert County Detention Center.
Marijuana found in hotel room
At 10:46 p.m. Feb. 15, Tfc. Logsdon responded to the Super 8 Hotel for a complaint of the odor of marijuana emitting from one of the rooms. Gregory R. Wigman, 43, of Norcross, Ga., was allegedly in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was jailed at the Calvert County Detention Center.
Drugs, paraphernalia found in car
Tfc. Weirsma stopped a vehicle at 9:29 p.m. Feb. 16 for traffic violations on Route 4 north of Sixes Road. The odor of marijuana allegedly was emitting from inside the vehicle and a search revealed marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Joanne N. Neal, 19, of St. Mary’s City was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Woman charged with DUI, resisting arrest
LaTonya R. Johnson, 36, of Lexington Park allegedly resisted arrest when troopers forced her to stop on Route 4 and Church Street at noon Feb. 15 after Trooper Matthews tried to stop her vehicle near St. Leonard Road for traffic violations and she refused to do so. She was charged with driving under the influence and several traffic violations, and she was jailed at the Calvert County Detention Center.
