David Leroy St. Clair, 82, Dentsville
David Leroy St. Clair, 82, of Dentsville died Feb. 23, 2013, at home.
Born Dec. 16, 1930, in Spring Hill, he was the son of the late Marshall S. and the late A. Maude St. Clair.
He was a retired carpenter having worked at The Watergate in Washington, D.C., in the engineering department for 25 years. He liked building things for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Cecil and Preston St. Clair.
He is survived by his wife, R. Anne St. Clair; sons, Gary and his wife Cindy of Chaptico, Kenny and his wife Annie of Mechanicsville and Kevin and his wife Debbie of Dentsville; brother, Algie; sister, Rennie Kenlon; grandchildren, Amber, June, Cody, Bailey and Megan; stepgrandchildren, Eric, Ryan and Craig; great-granddaughters, Shelby, Savannah and Ryleigh; stepgreat-grandson, Landon; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with prayers at 7 p.m. Feb. 27 at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, La Plata. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Feb. 28 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Newport. The Rev. Mark Ervin will officiate. Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Bushwood.
