Jessie Pregent, 90, Waldorf
Jessie Pregent, 90, of Waldorf died Jan. 29, 2013, at Civista Medical Center, La Plata.
She was originally from Wilton, N.Y., where she had lived for more than 85 years.
She retired from the General Electric Co. with more than 30 years of service. She enjoyed golfing, playing bingo, gardening and watching her great-grandchildren play sports. She especially enjoyed spending winters in Florida with her husband. In her early years she and her husband raised and trained race horses at Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Marshall; parents, Sarah and Clarence Kilburn; and brothers, Jerome and Elmer Kilburn.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Ralph Disque of Waldorf; sister, Elsie of Stevensville, Mont.; granddaughter Debbie and her husband Frank Sablan of Charlotte Hall; grandsons and their wives, Darrell and Natalie Disque of Richmond, Va., and Darren and Tracy Disque of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at a later date in New York.
