Mary Ellen Moore, center, of California and Leona Unkle participate in the 10th annual “Make-A-Blanket Day” hosted Saturday by the 50-plus members of the Calvert and St. Mary’s chapters of Project Linus at the Balance Imaging Solutions offices in California. A national organization, Project Linus’ purpose is to bring comfort to children in traumatic situations. Blankets are to be donated to St. Mary’s and Calvert hospitals, hospice homes, homeless shelters and TAPS.
