Pipes taken from motel
A Charles County sheriff’s officer was conducting a parking lot check at the Shine Inn in Newburg at 7:45 a.m. Feb. 23 when she noticed an open door.
Someone had entered a room and stolen pipes. Other rooms at the vacant motel were checked, and officers found damage to several doors.
