Stolen registration reported
Sgt. Roach received a complaint at 2:22 p.m. Feb. 20 for a stolen registration plate from the victim’s boat trailer. The investigation is ongoing.
Wedding ring reported stolen
At 4:19 p.m. Feb. 22, Tfc. Casarella responded to the 4900 block of Chavez Lane for a reported theft where a wedding ring was discovered missing. The investigation is ongoing.
Disorderly man arrested
Tfc. Logsdon responded to Captain Biggs at 2:17 a.m. Feb. 23 for a fight in progress. Andrew K. Higgs, 24, of Chesapeake Beach was arrested for disorderly conduct after being instructed to leave, continuing to argue with bystanders and interfering with EMS assisting a patient. He was jailed at the Calvert County Detention Center.
False statement leads to arrest
A vehicle theft from the 8300 block of Circle Drive was reported to Tfc. Wiesemann at 11:45 a.m. Feb. 24. Investigation revealed that Joseph H. Hobbs, 31, of Deale had falsely reported his vehicle stolen. He was arrested and jailed at the Calvert County Detention Center.
Woman charged for drug possession
At 8:52 a.m. Feb. 19, Trooper Matthews stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 4 at Plum Point Road. During the traffic stop, a search allegedly revealed the driver, Alexandra D. Wilson, 20, of Dunkirk, possessed marijuana and drug paraphernalia, for which she was arrested and charged.
Heroin found in car
Tfc. Wiesemann stopped a vehicle at 3 p.m. Feb. 20 at Route 4 and St. Leonard Road for traffic violations, and a search allegedly revealed heroin and drug paraphernalia. Paul A. Vinciguerra Jr., 23, of St. Leonard was arrested and jailed at the Calvert County Detention Center.
