Dunkirk
Illegal prescription drugs found
Tfc. Saucerman stopped a vehicle at 7 p.m. Feb. 25 for traffic violations on Route 4 at Apple Way. Krista M. Bozman, 21, of Lexington Park, a passenger in the vehicle, was arrested for an open St. Mary’s County warrant. She also was allegedly found in possession of Oxycodone, for which she did not have a prescription. She was arrested and jailed at the Calvert County Detention Center.
Huntingtown
Insulation stolen
At 4:36 p.m. Feb. 26, Tfc. Saucerman responded to the 4900 block of Solomons Island Road for a reported theft of insulation, which had been taken from the victim’s storage barn on Boothhaven Lane in Owings. The investigation is ongoing.
Lusby
Synthetic drugs found in car
At 9:43 p.m. Feb. 24, Trooper Matthews stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Gunsmoke Trail and, during the traffic stop, a search allegedly revealed the driver, Wayne J. Brooks, 20, of Leonardtown, was in possession of synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and jailed at the Calvert County Detention Center.
Man charged for drug possession
Sr. Trooper Gill responded at 12:40 p.m. Feb. 28 to the 12200 block of Beach Court for a trespassing complaint. During the investigation, Richard J. Otrompke, 41, of California, Md., was found in possession of marijuana and additional drug paraphernalia. Otrompke was arrested and charged.
Prince Frederick
Marijuana located during traffic stop
During a traffic stop for a suspended registration on Route 4 at Sherry Lane at 11:22 p.m. Feb. 25, Trooper Matthews allegedly smelled burnt marijuana coming from inside the vehicle while speaking with the driver, Porscha M. Harris, 24, of Lusby. A search was performed and marijuana was located. Harris was arrested and charged.
Disorderly woman arrested
At 6:46 p.m. March 1, Cpl. Van Bennekum responded to Yo Mamma’s Wings on a trespassing complaint. Lois M. Gignac, 49, of Broomes Island was allegedly extremely intoxicated and had been asked to leave the restaurant several times. She allegedly became belligerent and began yelling at the patrons entering and exiting the restaurant. She was arrested and jailed at the Calvert County Detention Center.
Drugs, paraphernalia found in car
Trooper Lewis stopped a vehicle on Route 4 at Dares Beach Road for traffic violations at 11:34 p.m. March 1. The driver, Stephen A. Blake, 20, of Prince Frederick, was allegedly in possession of synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and jailed at the Calvert County Detention Center.
Solomons
Man charged for marijuana possession
Trooper Oles stopped a vehicle at 7:34 a.m. on Route 4 at the Gov. Thomas Johnson Memorial Bridge. The odor of marijuana allegedly was emitting from inside the vehicle. Jerry A. Brawner, 32, of District Heights was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was arrested and charged.
St. Leonard
Two charged for heroin possession
Tfc. Wiesemann stopped a vehicle at 4:01 p.m. March 2 on Route 4 at Parran Road for traffic violations. While speaking with the occupants of the vehicle, drug paraphernalia was observed. Cassandra A. Grayson, 28, and David D. McDermott, 25, both of Lusby were arrested and charged with possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. They were jailed at the Calvert County Detention Center.
